 Ilona Popermajer
Mitt måleri har ständigt utvecklats, genomgått olika faser, från det föreställande till ett mer expressivt och surrealistiskt stämningsmåleri. Sedan mer och mer abstrakt - cirklar, linjer och rena färgkompositioner - för att under senare år utvecklas till en syntes av det abstrakta med mitt tidigare uttryckssätt. Ett måleri som nu är betydligt friare.
Ilona Popermajer, a Swedish visual artist, was born in 1965. During the years, she has been exploring different techniques in order to widen her methodological experience. However, since she lived and painted in Toronto, Canada, between 1995 and 1997, her production has been mainly conceived in the acrylic media or, lately, more often by use of oil on canvas. Presently, she performs her art in a studio in Malmö, Sweden.

In my paintings, I strive to create a realm beyond the obvious. Viewing my paintings should be an exploratory experience and it should give you a multitude of visual choices.Utställningar
